The Department of Civil Engineering offers two distinct graduate degree programs. The program leading to the Master of Science in Civil Engineering (M.S. CE) is a thesis-based program designed to prepare students for research, professional-development and further study at the doctoral level CEE offers both thesis and non-thesis options for the Master of Science with a major in civil engineering. Either option must be approved by the student’s major professor. Thesis Option.
